Tell your MP to take climate action on 17 June

join thousands of people on 17 June 2015 to tell your MP to take action on climate change – locally, nationally and internationally.
We all know that dealing with climate change is one of the most pressing political challenges we face today. Let’s make sure our MPs know that too.
Whoever you voted for in the general election, we all need to push for cross-party collaboration on committing to staying well below two degrees of warming.
The Climate Coalition are mobilising thousands of people to come to London and meet their MP on 17 June outside Westminster. After meeting for the first time as the new Parliament, MPs will join you and other constituents so you can lobby them on securing meaningful climate action in your local community, and across the world.
We know that the general election result must have been disappointing for a lot of you but our movement isn’t just about making our voices heard once every five years. We need to be heard every day. And that’s what this is about.
The climate lobby on 17 June is a perfect opportunity to change politics for the better. Get to know your MP, whichever party they’re from.
Tell them what you’re worried about in the local environment. Ask them what they’ll do to ensure Britain takes decisive action at the UN climate talks this year. Make sure they know that you’re concerned, committed and determined.
Whatever you love that’s threatened by climate change, come to London on 17 June to tell your MP about it, and make sure they take action.
